An elegant dash of just 6.5% Mareuil pinot noir red wine creates a pretty, bright pale-salmon hue and delightful perfume of strawberry, red cherry, pink pepper and rose petal, uniting fragrant restraint with red fruit presence and outstanding poise and persistence. It contrasts primary, precocious freshness with the gorgeous, succulent fruit generosity that defines Mareuil – no small task, especially in the warm 2015 season.
