The Salomon Estate vineyards are situated in the Finniss River Valley at an elevation of 120m above sea level. The midday heat is balanced by cool afternoon winds sent in by the nearby Southern Ocean meaning long yet cool ripening periods for maximum flavour development. The nose features plums, spice, and dark earthiness. The palate is dark and brooding with pronounced rich fruit and ripe tannins. Smooth and supple to finish.
